Does anyone else feel sick at the thougt of giving the Glazers so much money for putting our club in the shit?

It's great knowing that there is serious intestest in fucking the Glazers off, but to be held to ransom by them isn't.

I can't help thinking that the more the Glazers are given, the more we will be in debt than we already are.

i think the main difference for me is that the people invovled in the bid are united fans so will have the clubs interests as a higher priority than the verminous parasitic leeching cunts who own us at the moment

Don't get me wrong on this, it's great news that those involved are reds.

I have more serious concerns about the clubs future other than just wanting United fans to own the club.

Are the knights 'giving' the money away or are they 'investing' it?

Will the debt be reduced from the figure it currently stands at or will it be increased?

If the debt is increased, are we as United fans expected to help service that debt as well as assist our Trust to raise in the region of 250+million pound?

I realise it's early days still for the RK proposal details to be 'leaked', but I'd like to think those that have opposed the Glazers from day one, will also like to be reassured.

Afterall, some of us aren't fighting the Glazers because of their name, it's because of their behaviour, leeching, and ruining of our club. If the Glazers would of came into United in a similiar role to that as the Villa geezer, then just maybe we wouldn't be in this situation now?

At this moment in time, I'm having difficutly in supporting any proposal that will give the Glazers any more than a billion, and even at that I'm spewing.

oh i agree with you and as you can probably tell by the wording i used to descirbe the current owners, i have the same misgivings.....

the way i see it is any offer made needs to be enough to pay off the actual debt, cover what the cunts would leech from us anyhow over the next 5 years and a bit on top to make them think about it......

so 1.2bn would only cover the debt being fully paid off, and the 500m that they can legally steal from us over that period

The thing is, nobody quite knows what these Red Knights are proposing and until the offer is there in black and white, it is very difficult to formulate an opinion.

I agree that it is difficult to form a 100% opinion, but when we're left to pick up on snippets out of the press, then just as I have done, it begins to get muddy. I suppose this is why the RK's/MUST should start to give us more factual information on what the proposals are. We are after all fully supportive of the RK's, yet we don't know for sure what the package is we are supporting.

It's becoming more gloomier with the reports of Rio's agent supposedly becoming involved, will this alleged involvement begin to put the price up?

How much of a price tag are we as United fans prepared to support?

As you can see, there are questions and these are not just my own questions, some are and some are questions from discussions I had with united fans at the Wolves game. It's dangerous to treat United fans as "sheep".

Agreed. I think the fans have been very patient so far and are desperate for a detailed proposal they can get behind 100%. I want the RKs to give us a fucking clue. It's all very well for those ITK to keep saying ''all in good time etc'' but we're just treading water and will lose the initiative. Uncertainty leads to speculation- and not all of it good.

Spot on, jmt and KillGill.

It's all very well MUST saying let's get 100,000 members (e-members; whatever it is) and now 150,000 - but for what purpose, exactly? I am sure they must have a concrete objective but the last thing I heard was that Harris had asked fans to stop giving the Glazers any money and aim for at least a 10,000 people boycott of people giving up their books. I don't think MUST share that plan of action. I realise there has been a meeting between the Red Knights and MUST since those comments so I dearly hope things on are on the right path.

Interesting and frustrating times.

MUST won't back a plan of action that they feel would be controversial and cost them support, they'll be happier just to grow numbers to try and give themselves a bigger profile.

IMUSA had it right with their press release not so long ago. Pity they get brushed to one side a little these days.
